Ayana Rengill
BOARD MEMBER (PALAU)
Ayana, originally from the Republic of Palau, is an Associate Engineer with DTE Energy. A lifelong athlete and former national tennis player, she represented Palau across Pacific Oceania before earning a tennis scholarship to Alabama A&M University, where she graduated with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
Her professional journey began at Koror State Solid Waste Management, supporting innovative waste-to-energy solutions, and later took her to the U.S. mainland, where she advanced from rotation engineer to test engineer at Molex LLC in the automotive sector. Today, she brings her engineering expertise to the energy field, with a vision to apply her skills back home in Palau.
Guided by the values instilled by her family and sports community, Ayana believes persistence and a strong learning mindset can make anything possible. Outside of work, she loves fishing, traveling, and playing sports.
